In August of 2023 Camp Cassidy was humbled to be the recipient of fundraising by New Brunswick resident, Kevin Backs.
Kevin, an avid motorcyclist, connected with The Rolling Barrage (https://therollingbarrage.com) in their cross-Canada group motorcycle ride. The Rolling Barrage raises funds and awareness to support programs and organizations assisting those who serve our country who combat the effects of PTSD. Each year the group travels across Canada through various communities with riders joining enroute. Kevin’s portion of the ride was 1,200 km in New Brunswick.
Camp Cassidy is extremely grateful to Kevin for his initiative. Using social media platforms, Kevin helped increase awareness about Camp Cassidy and raised funds for the camp.
